Am I missing something? You get no financial benefit from playing a scrimmage at home, and there's no expense from traveling abroad, so why do managers only seem to accept or offer home games for them?

Many perhaps want to follow the game at their usual game time or even worry about submitting their lineup in time. Or perhaps they don't feel their players deserve to go some place nice.

As long as I'm not paying their air fare, I don't care where my players go. :)

When i first started playing, i was quite enthusiastic about winning games, and i felt homecourt advantage would help me win :)

If I'm trying to buy a player I want to play my game as late as possible so if I pick up a free agent that needs minutes I can still play him and possibly even give him training minutes.

Just challenge them both ways home and away and let them chose what they prefer
