Seems like a great draft, not so much for big men. Lot of guards on the board. Didn't plan on drafting at the position, but the man on top of my board is a true gem, so I hope I get him, decent odds too with only three drafting higher than I. If two of the teams in my conference get him I'd hate to play them when they get back, but even if I don't get him, there's still talent.

I don't see the draft. Are you sure it's out there for the looking?

Haha, I spent $0 on scouting this season as a test ... and because I was cocky enough to think I was gonna run away with the title this year, right? No, seriously speaking, I didn't spend any money on scouting to see what happens and I have 2 players open (a 5/4 guard) and a (2/2 forward) and then I can see about 10 more players stats with their grade but no potential.

Scouting is such a waste of my money. Why waste money on scouting when I can let others do the scouting for me and I'll just hit up the TL afterwards.

Trainees cost too much IMO. I was shopping for PGs after the draf past year, wasn't trying to pay 1.7 million each. I'd rather "waste" my money on 300k worth of scouting spread out over 240 weeks.

You don't need to shoot for the moon on the transfer list. Four of my current rotation players were bought for a total of about $200k. It only takes two seasons of single position training to get a 3k player into the 12k-15k range. You're not going to get a huge potential guy or someone with great current skills but in time you can train quality players, save money and make a killing if you want to sell them at some point.

I agree with the TL theory. You can get top draftees at a good price. Scouting is a waste. I got my 5 star/5 star player once and he was useless.

Well both my forwards were prime prospects out of the draft and I like to look for prime trainees when I shop.

Well draft it is what it is but don't forget that all are American players and a squad with too many foreigners drops your merchandise.
