It's probably been suggested before but I think that when you sign up and get your team, the Best Performances for that team should be erased since it really isn't the same team anymore.

My Best Performances:
Points: 64 by Stefan Igelmo
Rebounds: 28 by Joachim Liljensten
Assists: 11 by Torbjörn Zetterstedt
Blocks: 8 by Stefan Igelmo

None of these are my players, the Points record is from season 1, and I doubt that I will ever break it.

I agree!!!

There could be all team records reseted after team gets new manager (user) Course it`s not possible now to beat those records made by BOT before me... and the same in Leagues (but only records made by bots... If that record was made by on that time existing team so don`t reset it...)

Those bot teams are part of your team's history, though. Does anyone know if the Lakers wiped any records set in Minneapolis when the team moved to LA, or if the Jazz did the same when they moved to Utah?

But was there continuity in players when the Lakers, Jazz, Clippers, Kings, etc. moved? There is none when a user takes over a bot team. This is a key reason why users don't want the bot historical records... it's only their history by virtue of an arbitrary ID number and the starting league, not by the players that made the history happen.

Edit: Let me just add that I think it's a no-brainer that the Best Performances should show the performances for the current user, from a BB business standpoint. Those performances should be a useful way to keep people attached to their team, and so the product. If people tune those performances out because they aren't their own, that's a lost opportunity.

Agree.

In addition, all league records achieved in walkovers should be removed. Some of those are so ridiculously high, it is pretty much impossible to beat them - or at least it will take several seasons. Records showing something that never actually happened make zero sense and they just ruin the fun. Writing a scipt to run this check and fix the issue should not be too difficult.

Yeah...most people in LA have no clue that the Lakers won 5 NBA titles in Minneapolis.

BTW, they were in Detriot before they move to Minneapolis.

I agree that the the best performances of former managers should be kept. It's like an NBA franchise. They can move from one city to another and even change their name, but their history remains unchanged.

However, I also agree that walkover games should have no effect whatsoever on the Best Performances register.

when I posted this idea I tried to say that only records by bots should be deleted... Maybe also records made by bot should not be registered at all...
