I'm bringing my own thread into the BB Global, and it's, more than anything, a game. It's somewhat related to BB, but not too much, but I'm just wondering- if you were a player on BB, what would your stats be (basing them on your RL abilities, not just 20-20-20-20-20 etc.)

The objective: list what your stats would be if you were a BB player, don't actually go out and find it or anything, just post the stats. Here's mine:

Jump Shot: strong (8)-- I can shoot a Jump shot to an extent, but I'm not quite at a pro level.
Jump Range: strong (8)-- I can shoot from farther out, not quite as well, but I can.
Outside Defense: inept (4)-- I'm not good at defense, but I'm not exactly a revolving door from beyond the arc; I can hold my own at times.
Handling: respectable (7)-- I can control the ball pretty good, but I'm not as good at controlling the ball as some.
Driving: inept (4)-- I can't drive well, I can hit a crossover once in a while though.
Passing: prolific (11)-- I can get off a pass most often.
Inside Shot: average (6)-- I can shoot inside, but I'm not an inside player.
Inside Defense: pitiful (2)-- I'm a revolving door inside the paint.
Rebounding: mediocre (5)-- I can grab a rebound every now and then, but taller players will shut me down in this category.
Shot Blocking: atrocious (1)-- are you kidding me? I couldn't block a shot if they were aiming at my chest.
Stamina: proficient (9)-- I can endure probably a full game without much wear and tear; I played a full 90 minutes a few days ago.
Free Throw: inept (4)-- I'll sink about 55% of my free throws... next to defense, where I most want improvement.

Where I need to improve: Defense, Free Throws, Driving.
Best Characteristics: Passing, Jump Shot, Stamina
Approximate BB Salary per week (using salary calculator, see end of post): $8,224
My best position: Point Guard

Jump Shot: 5 - Sometimes I get hot and shoot the lights out. But it happens only maybe 1 in 5 games.
Jump Range: 6 - Decent range all up to the three point area.
Outside Defense: 9 - This is my best asset. I'm a pest to the other team and get 4-5 steals at least a game.
Handling: 5 - Meh, I practice but I just don't get better at it.
Driving: 8 - I protect the ball well to the basket and I have that European 2-step like Tony Parker.
Passing: 6 - I'm tempted to go really high or really low on this one. I'm pretty bad at basic/accurate passing but the no-look-behind-the-back ones I can pull off. Weird.
Inside Shot: 7 - Mostly lay-ups, not the back to basket type shots.
Inside Defense: 7 - I'm short but I can stand my ground.
Rebounding: 9 - I LOVE going for rebounds. It's a pride thing for me.
Shot Blocking: 6 - I'm better at this when I just go up and block shots out of instinct rather than thinking and timing it.
Stamina: 7 - Decent I guess. If I'm playing well, I can play much longer than when I'm not. I just lose interest after several bad possessions.
Free Throw: 10 - I won a game once by sealing the game with 2 free throws.

In BB I would have around 8k salary as well.
I would probably play PG on defense, SF on offense. Wherever I don't have to shoot as much but just go for the loose balls and get my points on hustle plays.

I played professionally for a year in Spain back when I was 23. One of the best years of my life. I was a small forward. I used to play pick-up for four or five hours a day.

What about that Shot Blocking, one could think that becoming older also gives you more experience in reading the play?:)

But no legs to jump high enough ;)

Can anyone calculate my sallary and my transfer price estimate?

According to me my sallary should be around 7000 or 8000$ and my transfer price would be near about 2000000$

Potential: coach's clipboard manufacturer (basically, nothing remotely relevant to basketball, though I realistically could play pro hockey in a lower tier league, likely overseas, so it has little to do with athleticism)
