I personally think that 3-2 works just great against look inside and low post. Havn't seen any big difference in outcome from when i play 2-3. I guess it depends on how good your defense is though. But stopping the ball from coming to his big men also leads to less fouls as well. So i wouldn't say choosing 3-2 zone agains a inside tactic is a bad choice but i guess good defense is a given for doing this.
Who said 2-3 would be a better choise? He would of prolly won with m2m. Both his starter C and PF fouled out. One of them played 27 mins total. It's not like the opponent had hard time passing. He had more assists (if we look at the fouls, without them he would have even had more assists). So better FG%. more reb, more assists, more freethrows earned. This is a result from less effort and bad tactics.

Hey guys.
I didn't lose but need to know how this works out.
How did I get so many TOs? My team is a lot better than his and my offensive flow is great for div3! Look at my assists!
His OD is really poor. How did he get so many steals/force TOs?
I know his CT and home court helps but this is..... >:(

5k PF with 7 GS blows up 51k PF with 9 GS...How?

The weirdest buzzerbeater game i have ever been a part of BY FAR.

I use more effort. I have salary to match his PF/C (with good secondaries). My mediocre passing SG and PF get 4 and 5 turnovers respectively...most of which are unforced. 3 seconds, pass out of bounds etc. My team played Sharman Globetrotters better than they did tonight...both on normals.

He starts a Center at PG and he has 0 TOs to Japan's U21 national team starter having 2.

A SG with 7 GS and 5k salary keeps my sensational average SG to 0-10 from 3.

I cant not for the life of me understand how i got blown out so badly in this game.

Case study please. For 5k guys with respectable game shape to be able to defend my proficent gs guards like this is totally baffling.

I just dont get it.

Usually man to man + 7 game shape + 5k salary means at level 11+ js with 6+ jr will hit at least ONE three.

but 0 for 10?

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

Your opponent had a comparably superior starting PF plus a great C, both with good GS and played Low Post, which seems to be a perfect tactic for him. Meanwhile, you played PtB so you didn't manage to exploit any of his weaknesses. He also defended you MtM which meant he defended both your outside shooting and inside scoring pretty decently.

And your as far as your SG miserable scoring is concerned - just a matter of bad luck. Respectable GS didn't help yur player either.

This game came in as a cold shower:

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/23232602/boxscore.aspx

Any explanation?

Few possible reasons:

- He obviously had a better stamina for 4th qtr, but according to skills, I wonder why I couldn't make better lead in first 3 qtrs
- He had a better FG%, but I had more offensive rebounds that should have compensate this at least a bit
- I made more fouls, but lot of them were committed at the end, when I was already trying to catch up
- This is my 6th lost game in a row (including cup and friendly) after a great start of season - maybe some kind of cosmic balance? :)

Thanks!

Really tough loss - your enthusiasm is a bit down compared to his but your game shape overall was more or less equal. Still for his players to score 38 points in the 4th after playing all 48 minutes is a bit odd. Just bad luck for you I would say.

Thanks, idorux. I guess I'll have to accept that it was just a bad luck...
