A little over a week ago, I posted a thread about a terrible player being bought for 670K - a clear example of cheating. Now the team that profited from the cheating is using that money to buy a very good player on the TL, Serif Çeri (776482)

I understand that it's sometimes not possible to stop a cheater right away, but here is an example of how doing nothing is not an option either. Some legitimate team is going to have to get into a bidding war with a cheater to buy this player OR even worse the player will be lost to the cheating team.

Can't TL activity at least be frozen for suspected cheaters to avoid this from happening? This is an urgent issue, as this player closes in the next 24 hours.

Interesting, as I've been tracking this player also. Earlier today he was being bid on around 400K by a different team that I had turned in for cheating.

In this case it's hard to say what can be done. Serif is a good player, but I doubt I'd bid much more than what he's at now. Plus, I don't want to pay a large sum for a player when the market isn't determining the value, cheaters are.

Wow, a DIFFERENT cheater was bidding on this player as well? Even worse than I thought.

Excellent point about not paying a cost that cheaters create, instead of the market naturally.

I've a cheater that has 2 teams in my championship and both are in the playoff. The teams he manages are minimum 5, I'd like too that something will be done asap...

I agree with all of you that something needs to be done, but I hope you are all 100% certain about this guys before you call them "cheaters".

I've been accused of cheating in HT, and my young brother even lost his team, and I had to see him crying at home, because of people that wrongly accused us. We had done nothing wrong. A week later, after a lot of complaining on my part, the GM's realized their mistake and gave him his team back. So I'm always very strict with accusations. It's something serious and has to be done carefully.

And the BB's should look into this accusations ASAP.

In the case of the two teams being mentioned in this thread, along with another one that I turned in, I'm 100% certain.
That, or these people are getting friends/family members to sign up and completely ripping them off multiple times. All three have been turned in and at this point the BB's will get to it when they it becomes priority.

I do understand your point/concern about false accusations, but that's just not the case here, they are pretty blatant.

There's a lot of difference by someone who sold a tough and powerful player for a high price and someone who sold an awful player for a very very very very very very very (anf anf..) very very very very high price

Right, awful players for high prices and multiple transactions in each case. There's no question.

I never said these accusations were false, I was just saying that they should always be certain.

Anyway, I believe the BB's will take care of this, since we are already discussing it on the GM forum.
