Is there any info on what these are influenced by? I have players who are worse on the rebounding stat but do a better job on the offensive boards than others. It could be a random thing but I was wondering if players who have higher inside scoring are better offensive rebounders. Anyone with some solid knowhow on this matter?

IS shots helps to gain extra point out of rebounds, and matchup and defensiv strategie of the opponent is most importat(+ a bit his teammates)

I don't get what you mean. Are you saying higher IS influences offensive rebounding? I get that the matchups play a role, but that would apply to the defensive glass as well. I have players who get a higher share of offensive rebounds than defensive ones. Matchups wouldn't explain that.

No, i mean that you often got a chanche to convert the rebounds to a layup, where IS helps a lot to convert(personally thats the point where i notice IS on guards^^).

That does not answer my question at all. I know higher IS leads to converting more putbacks. That has nothing to do with what I asked.

I'm not sure that i agree on ID effecting offensive rebounding.

As far as i've been able to tell, it's purely a rebounding based thing and the rebounding of your team mates compared to the opposition. Obviously a defensive tactic can effect this with a 3-2 zone more likely to give away more offensive rebounds and a 2-3 zone more likely to stop offensive rebounds and stamina will play a part as the game goes on as well.

Don't forget, rebounding isn't just getting the ball yourself, it's also boxing out your man too.

It's certainly possible. From what i've been able to tell it's not really a factor though (in offensive rebounding anyway)
