Continuing the tradition started last year, it is time to vote for the Canadian Hall of Fame.
Last year's initial inductees were JBMrock, arguably the most successful BB manager in the world and Scott Romero once the BB world's best big man. This year they will be joined by one more player and one more manager as voted on by the Canadian public (aka you folks).
Each Canadian manager can vote for one manager and one player. To vote simply write the full name of both the manager and player you wish to vote for in a reply to this thread.
Please bold the names so they're easy to find.
(if you change your vote please go back and edit your original post to indicate the change)
Voting should be based on the loose criteria of their overall impact and importance to the BB world so reputation, impact on NT, impact on Canadian leagues, community building, etc. should all be included in your decision.
Please feel fr
Managers:
oeuftete
- Canada's very first NT manager/9 time Naismith league finalist/4 time Canadian tournament champion. Wrote the incredibly useful "BB Prospectus" tool. Served as a GM.
uflorin
- Canada's 2nd NT manager/Trained NT PG Jean-Francois Joly/ Famous for using run and gun offense nonstop
paulo_09
- Canada's very first U21 manager/Trained NT players Letarte and Faure/2 time II.2 champion
Rip88
- Long time national team coach who was seminal in establishing a real NT program for Canada. Helped pioneer the large scale prospect saving technique in Canada.
Players:
SF
Paul Wendon:
Once touted as the greatest SF in the world, Wendon was one of the first truly balanced SF and remains a NT staple.
PG
Jean-Francois Joly
(796086) - Holds the record for most Canadian NT games played. Lead Canada in the early days where Run and Gun was king.
SF
Jean-Paul Laviolette
(373520) - Former NT star. Well known for his great jump shot.
PG/SG
Josai Aubert
(295339) - Played on the NT from season 2 until season 10.
Voting will close one week from today at noon. Please feel free to debate and to suggest other nominees for this or next year's campaign.

Since I've been playing BB, the two clear dominant powers in Canada have been BC Toroo and Random Noise (previously known as Cape Sable Sculpins). I think that the manager of Random Noise, oeuftete, is a shoo-in hall of famer at some point, and I'll give him my vote for this season.
For the player, I think that Wendon is a good choice. He has a unique combination of NT longevity, impact play, and forum hype. :P
Votes
manager - oeuftete
player - Paul Wendon

I'll go with oeuftete. His credentials speak for themselves. Also, I'll go with Joly. I was thinking about going with Wendon, but I'll stick with Joly.

Wish I had a vote!
Since you said that, here is my vote:
manager: BB-Edju
player: Jean-Francois Joly
What, my ballot was spoiled? Ah well, call it a protest vote, oeuftete is going to win, anyways.
