I realize this may come down to specific preference, but what is your preference for a perimeter-oriented SF? I have two players that I am considering moving to SF. One has Respectable ID and Awful RB and the other has Awful ID and Respectable RB, which would be better suited for perimeter based SF in your opinion? Here are the full players:

Player 1

Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: proficient Handling: proficient
Driving: respectable Passing: strong
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: inept Free Throw: mediocre

Player 2

Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: strong Handling: respectable
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: average Free Throw: strong

the first as SF and the second as SG as I believe that SFs need Handling more than SGs.

I think he talks about the difference between ID and Rebs.... I will agree that the first guy is also better for SF... SF needs some ID maybe around 5 would do the deal , but Awful is not good enough... the other guy could be a good guard....

Hey I just got the same question by mail also.:) So I copy my answer:
"I remember getting some good info long ago that for Offensive Flow (which of course is vital for creating good scoring chances --> shooting %), Handling for PG is most important, but also Passing for SG,PG,SF,PF,C (about in that order), AND Handling for SF..! It may even read in the game manual something about HN for SF if I remember correctly..?
regards, /DM"
Quite vague but anyway.:)

Yeah. I don't think this is correct at all and I don't believe there's any evidence to support it.

I find this in the game manual:
"Offensive Flow (how well the offense produces assists, avoids turnovers): point guard weighted very heavily, shooting guard weighted medium, small forward weighted medium."
Much vaguer.:)

Nothing in that quote even comes close to suggesting that handling is more important for a SF than for a guard. In fact, it suggests the exact opposite.

I can't remember where I got the info on HN for SFs, but I believe in it myself. Sorry if the info is not correct, but no evidence for it NOT being correct also. What do you mean it suggests the opposite?? SG and SF medium, no-one knows the weights of HN vs PS exactly.
