Has anyone else had more than usual difficulty trying to manage your players minutes this season? I have three pg trainees and I can only seem to get the proper minutes on one.

Notice the minutes for Franklin Balsiger from my scrimmage last night:

C H. Zatagić 45 3 - 7 0 - 1 1 - 2 5 15 1 3 0 2 2 7 8.0
PG J. Farrington 45 1 - 16 1 - 10 2 - 2 1 4 1 6 3 0 0 5 5.5
SG S. Xue Liang 48 1 - 16 1 - 7 1 - 2 2 7 0 1 1 3 5 4 5.0
SF Q. Bonells 45 1 - 19 0 - 10 2 - 4 3 6 2 1 1 3 0 4 5.0
PF E. Innaty 48 1 - 11 0 - 1 1 - 2 2 9 0 5 0 4 4 3 7.0
PG F. Balsiger 3 0 - 2 0 - 1 1 - 2 0 1 0 1 1 0 0 1 NR
C Z. Nascimento 3 0 - 1 0 - 0 0 - 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 NR

He needed 9 minutes but for some reason all the bench guys only got three. I haven't struggled in the past seasons, but this season just seems like my coach is trying to not let these guys hit their proper minutes.

Was there a change in the GE?

No change in GE announced. If you want your bench to have more playing time you can 1) Have starters with low stamina, and a backup with much higher stamina, 2) Play scrimmages against teams that are much worse than you so you'll have a bigger lead, prompting your coach to sub more often (works most times). Hope that helps.

One of my trainees played 43, 47 and 48 minutes in the past 3 weeks, and he got 4 pops from last training, which was nice.

Hope he will have 48 minutes for training every week.

Fix your player like this

For example you will train C position

PG: 1-2-3
SG: 4-5-6
SF: 7-8-9
PF:10-11-12
C: BLANK- 13-13

NUMBER 13 will train 48 minutes unless he fouled out or injured

Because GE has a different working principle. The reason players stay in the game for less than 48 minutes is the working structure of GE, which allows the substitutes to take much time. It does this by changing the players written on the board. But if we leave the slot on the board empty, he thinks that the substitute is already playing. This method hasn't failed at all so far.

Does substitute tactic have any difference with this method? I remember trying it once a long time ago and it didn't work for me as you describe, but I don't remember what substitute (coach) tactic I was using.

-don't let the coach decide
-send the player you did not write on the board to the reserved team, do not keep it in the first team (that is also important)
-You can organize the other players as you want, except for the training zone
