I have 3 really good trainees, 2 of which im planning to build my team around, i'm getting them a couple more pops in JR but then my plan is to train their JS and OD to high levels. My question though, is, how high would i want to get their OD? What level would they need to be to be competitive in div II and possibly the NBBA?

I would say that you need at least wonderous at the PG spot and a twice trained wonderous(almost marvelous) at SG and a Tremendous OD with a proficient ID to play SF.. This is what my starters look like and I play in a top league in a small country. Maybe add 1 to this if you are talking about the NBBA.
BTW...I really like the 3rd guy(the superstar) With some cross training he could be a beast SF in like 2 seasons..

Cool i'll have to get to work on that OD cause i know it slows down greatly after they turn 22. i was thinking of turning him into a stud sf, but i have my roster fairly well set with my 5 trainees.

The plan is after these guys turn 24 or 25 and i get done training them, is to purchase a monster rookie, 18 yo with 5500+ salary between 6-4 and 6-7 mvp or better potential and creating a monster sf. I just have to get to division 2 and stay competitive while i get that guy up and running.

I have a plan for how to train that kind of player so hopefully in a few seasons i can make that happen!

i am at 13(tremendous?) at my guard and SF spot, it also work out at least when you could manage to have a enthusiam. Even when i like to raise it to 15, for the player who still could learn it.

Probadly i would also include a bit of passing, at cost to the od training regime.
