The short answer: Win games.

The long answer is the following: Having a large arena with the right prices so that more than 90% of the seats are sold every game is ultimately the way to make money - it's usually at least half of the income of a team, unless it is stacked with homegrown NT players.

I would also add that a potentially overlooked factor is salary (both for your players and staff). Do not add players and staff whose salary is not justified by the division you're in (e.g. $20k/week player in DV). Salary will eat away at your income if you don't pay attention to it.

I do not totally agree with you. A doctor is very important. Without one your players get a LOT more. Also a PR.manager that is level 3 will give you more profit because of merchendise. You will only get 3-5k more per week though from the PR manager. With a trainer I would get a level 4 if I were you.

Re-read what I said. I didn't say not to hire staff. I warned against hiring staff that was too expensive.

Staff's effectiveness decreases the higher lvl staff you have.

e.g. The difference between a lvl 1 and 2 trainer is a lot more than a lvl 6 and 7 trainer.

High level staff also costs a lot more.

Yes it might be in your best interests to get a level 3 PR manager but opting to get a lvl 7 PR manager will not justify the salary you have to pay and you end up losing more money in terms of paying higher salaries

You will only get 3-5k more per week

How much did your new trainer cost to get?
What is his salary and signing bonus?

*EDIT* Rephrasing.

I have not gotton a lvl 6 trainer yet. but my payoff bonus was around 20k, my lvl 4 trainer was around 50k with 12k salarie. I think that is a good target when shopping for a level 4 trainer. I am looking for a level 6 trainer with 21-22k salary, for about 500k.
