Hi guys!

I was wondering if it is better to have PF and C with IS/ID/R of similar value or rather each of them focused on a particular skill more than the other skills (let's say PF with high IS and C with high R ). If there is any thread about that, please let me know.

Greets!

Unless I'm mistaken, secondary skill training speed is increased/decreased based on the level of the primary skill. In other words, say you're training Rebounding and it's already at a high level. Since Rebounding also trains Inside Defense and Inside Shot, those skill will get a speed boost to "catch up" to Rebounding's level, and likewise, Rebounding will get a decrease in speed.

And they will benifit in great secondaries. Would you rather a C with just inside skills and no outside game, or a PF with good inside but also good outside? The outside skills will make him more balanced so you can play him as a SF, PF or even C if needed. It keeps your opponents guessing what position you will play him

i think you could fight a weakness in Rebounding through a weak rebounding PF/C with a very strong rebounder on the other position. Which is maybe not the best decision with the salarys, but i think it will work for the game.

With IS, in the past i had centers without IS who did their job when i played outside tactics, but i wouldn't play inside tactics with them even when the PF is a monster under the basket. So here i am for the balanced way.

Ok, here I am not asking about the training. Let's assume that I want to buy two tall. I would rather like to know how these skills are influenced by the game engine (let's leave outside skills for the moment). For example it could be more beneficial to have C with 15 R and PF let's say with 9 R, instead of having both C and PF with R equal to 12 (... or not). Since I don't know the engine of the game well...I am showing my guessing. It would be nice to hear some comments from the most experienced people here.

From an economical standpoint, sure it would be cheaper to get a C with high rebounding and a PF with better scoring skills and not so high rebounding than buy two players with high rebounding. However, that PF with low rebounding might get outmatched every game and cost you the rebounding edge. You're going to get different opinions. I happen to be from the school of well-rounded players. Others favor high ratings on the main skills and will probably disagree with me.

Would it work just as well if the PF was the rebounder?
