So far this week i've been focusing on one area and that's jump shot for forwards, I've had at least 3 forwards who got at least 48 minutes and one who got double that amount. What do people mean when they say things like training players for 2 weeks? Do they mean that one game the player that they're training plays 48 minutes, and then in the next game that same week they play another 48 minutes and that equals 2 weeks?

I'm still learning the whole thing about training, because i've only been here a short while, a few months. And another question, is having a better trainer give you a better chance of having your players that you've trained get pops? I appreciate any help.

Have a read of this it will answer a lot of your questions. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr... . Main thing is that training only occurs once a week on Friday and uses the minutes from the 3 games on the previous Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Earning more than 48 minutes does not increase training any further, and too many minutes can affect gameshape. If someone says they train a player for a couple weeks in JS, they probably mean their player had 48+ minutes per week and trained JS for consecutive weeks. A better trainer does give pops more often, and most people will probably recommend a level 4 trainer with fitness specialty and as close to 11k salary as possible. Better trainers are very expensive and not recommended for a division V team, and especially a division V team with no great trainees. Bowie is the only player on your team I would even consider training. It is a waste to train twenty-somethings with poor skills and potential.

Get at least a level 4. with a level 1 trainer, there is no effect on training. With a level 1 trainer you can only train GS effectly. First get some trainees, then get at least a level 4 trainer.

level 1 also trains FT and stamina effectively. but for other trainingtypes a higher level indeed is very recommended. level 4 seems to be okay if he can be afforded.

I also like to add that it's not just the pops that are important. Players you train do get training and become better, no matter if you realy 'see' it (pops) it's very possible that a player for instance is a 4,1 and is shown as a 4, and after training is still shown as a 4, but has become 4,4, in which case he will also play his games as a 4,4 and not the 4,1 he had before.
So even without pops, the players do get better...
I just wanted to make this clear as many users seem to think a player only gets better when he realy pops.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
