Hey all,
I am Harlab, the GM of Penlicox tech, and I get interested sometimes in how efficient players are playing. So from time to time I am going to release reports on how each player is doing on a per48 minute basis. I will check all the teams and their stats to see how players are doing. Top save time, I will judge the relevance of some of the stats, so for instance I may not post about a players playing on;y 5 minutes a game. Also, please respond with any requests, feedback, or thoughts on the stats you see. For my first installment I because interested for strictly selfish reasons. My player Ragnar Eenmaa is ranked fourth in our league right now in rebounding but I felt that was unfair because frankly I get large leads in games and he gets pulled, so he doesn't get to play full games (he averages 30.1 minutes a game apposed to the upper 40s that some of the other players on the list get to play). I was interested in seeing how his stats would look in a theoretical sense if he played more minutes per game, so I checked out how each of the players on the top rebounders list stacked up on a per48 minute basis, and I was not surprised to see how well my own player stacked up, but I also noticed there were a few other players who stacked up well.
Again, please let me know if anyone is going to read these, or if I should just keep my own records. I will post a more full list of the top rebounders per 48 minutes at a later date when I have the time to look at each team's major players.
What I came up with though for this first list is as follows:
Ragnar Eenmaa-15.5 (30.1 minutes)=24.7
Donald Kraft-11.8 (24.5 minutes)=22.9
Jason Southwood-9.5 (23.4 minutes)=19.5
Michael Omalley-13.2 (33.6 minutes)=18.9
Freeman Lance-13.0 (34.0 minutes)=18.4
Brad Heath-13.8 (36.9 minutes)=18.0
Russel Kraft-17.0 (45.9 minutes)=17.8
Steve Vanhorn-17.0 (47.1 minutes)=17.3
Zachary Hill-15.7 (45.6 minutes)=16.6
A more full list may show someone else at the top, and I anticipate that a more full list would show a lot more players between the 16-18 rebound range. Feedback is welcome.
Cheers,
Harlab
