It says Retired? So if it is not your player it is a transfer listed one? And if so, and you have to ask if it is a good prospect, I do not see how you could have the money to get him/ need training advice...

Judging by "Owner: Retired", he must be on the transfer list. In that case, the answer to your question revolves around how much you'd have to pay for him. Is he a good prospect? Yes. Is he worth throwing all your money at him? Probably not. Especially if you already have guards you're training.
