This match is ridicolous. (26309817)

Loosing with garbage is ridicolous.

It makes the difference beetween a great game and a ridicolous one.

Im enjoing BB since season 4 but today it is no more a game, no more a simulation....today BB is nothing.

Maybe tomorrow will be great again....but not today.

I am trying to figure out why you are complaining about that game. The better team won. Maybe you think the home team should have won by more?

I think I need more explanation here.

I agree with HPP here. Your opponent has better ratings, out rebounded you, shot better than you and got the the foul line way more than you. Add on top of that that he was at home and you should be thankful it was close.

Maybe the thread title should read When BB's sore losers become big......ah nevermind :)

Actually, I think I may have spoken too soon. Upon further reflection, he was up by 21 points going into the 3rd quarter. That's when garbage time started. I did not watch the game all the way to the end, but his substitutes got hammer on for quite a good stretch.

I always wondered if the "garbage time" ever came back to haunt a team. I was hoping it would happen in my last game against Secret Agents but I just came up short.

You are correct that he was up 21 going into the forth quarter and had obviously put all his subs into the game at that point. His subs were taken out at the 8:20 mark after a 9-0 run against them. With his starters on the floor he continue to get dominated. The bottom line is the better team won. Yes they shot lights out in the fourth quarter but it I don't think I would consider it garbage time. Especially since Monkeys subs only played the first 4 minutes of the 4th quarter.

I was not talkin about MR etc...

I think that without garbage time i would have won easily.

I have never lost a quarter 35-8. Never. My opponent is not so strong to punish me in this way.

Im not new in BB, i know what im talkin about.

Loosing with garbage time makes a game stupid in my opinion.

I think everybody would react in my way.

Im sorry for my poor english ;)

It happens in RL too. Another view is you were incredibly lucky to be up by 21, got cocky and got your ass kicked.

I appreciate it that it's hard to take when someone lands a one in a hundred chance against you, but it does happen.

Please explain to me what you think garbage time is??

To me your coach thought the game has under control and put your subs in to start the fourth quarter. And after suffering a 9-0 run against pulled them, meaning you were up by 12 when your starters came back in. Your starters did not get it done, they got out rebounded, out shot and took to many fouls. What more is there to say? Yes, we all hate losing, but you lost to a better team. The 35-8 fourth quarter looks bad and is obviously not easy to take, but the other stats speak volumes about why you lost. Combine that with you being on the road and I am not really sure what you were hoping for...

I appreciate it that it's hard to take when someone lands a one in a thousand chance against you, but it does happen.

This sounds better ;)

meaning you were up by 12 when your starters came back in

Sometimes coach waits with respond for being up only 6 or 7 points and it sucks big time.
