My team played pretty well in d. V last year and ended up moving up to d IV. This year however they are getting smacked around and I really have no shot of doing anything worth writing home about for the season (besides avoiding being knocked back down to d. V). I most players are relatively young, with my starters all under 24. My focus for the past 2 seasons has been to train my pf (13184354) and he has really come a long way. Def not where I want him to be yet though. I also have a c (14593041) and pg (16667628) who have perennial allstar talent and are both young. I would like to continue training my pf first, but also improve the other two. I have been focusing on the pf's shooting. Only his JS has popped though, not range. I was hoping to get him to to respectable in range but it doesnt appear thats going to happen. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how to improve them all? I am not worried about winning games this season so strategizing isn't that important. Should I move the pg to SF and train forwards in something or move the big guys to sg and train there? Please let me know what you think.

I would continue your focus on single position training the PF, keep the C as a backup only until you can get a better one, and stop training the PG. If you provide your PF's stats, others will probably make recommendations on how to proceed with your training.

If it were me, I would build up ID and RB to 10 ASAP. I would then train 1on1 for forwards which should help your DR and work on his atrocious HN. Beyond that, I think you could do better to train passing a tiny bit and further build his inside skills instead of working on JR. It takes a very long time to increase JR for a 7 footer, and this is one of his less needed skills.

The potential of the Allstars are pretty much

Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: average
Driving: atrocious Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: marvelous Inside Def.: tremendous
Rebounding: tremendous Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: inept

or

Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: strong Handling: awful
Driving: mediocre Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: marvelous Inside Def.: wondrous
Rebounding: prolific Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: strong Free Throw: strong

Just 2 examples of a strictly C, or a PF.

So to get the max out his potential my suggestion is to get his IS/ID/RE around 13 or a similar combination that you like in sum of 39, work his DR (just to help his HA, even better if you just train HA directly), then JS/OD to create a very good PF with low salary.

His SB is very high and it doesnt help...
