I have a player whose salary is way to much higher, than the estimation. First I tough that the salary estiamation is wrong, but I tried few different ones and they have the same (similar) result. Have you ever experienced it? If you interested I can copy the skills here.

Jump Shot: phenomenal(18) Jump Range: wondrous(14)
Outside Def.: prodigious(16) Handling: sensational(12)
Driving: sensational(12) Passing: respectable(7)
Inside Shot: atrocious(1) Inside Def.: inept(4)
Rebounding: average(6) Shot Blocking: average(6)
Stamina: awful(3) Free Throw: strong(8)

Estimate is around 160.000$ actual salary is 210.000$. He continously got training, he had one pop in 1,5 season, which i think also irrealistic.

His had his lost pops in outside defense and handling, so we consider that he can be close to the next level in jump shot, jump range or driving. In the salary calculator with these skill pops, the salary is 212.000$. But i don't think that he can be close to the next level in three different skills in the same time. At least it is very unlikely.

He is not my primary training. His traing is only a "side effect", but anyway he doesn't improve.

For the training part MVP potential is ~215-315k for the cap. But then many other things than salary are taken in to consideration when the potential is counted so he may cap sooner or later. Guess he did it sooner.

What other factosr you meant?

I have no idea, but I think the cap takes into account the amount of skills (but also the skills which don't affect salary). So if he's a multiskilled player, he should hit his cap at a lower salary than a monoskilled player. Don't quote me on this, though.

Hey, it is unlikely but anyway it still possible. It should be the real reason. You can also add near +-5% as a possible mistake for salary calculators.
