Um, dress only three players for each of your league games, then use scrimmages to maintain game shape. That's pretty much just common sense though. Make sure you get your trainees the minutes they require at the right position as well... Um, for what reason are you disclosing all of your stats?

actually if you're trying to lose games, you should use scrimmages to kill your gameshape.

If I were purposefully trying to lose as many games as possible, I would sell all but 5 of my players give or take 1-2 depending on how mnay trainees I had, and just suit 5 players up for each game. Lowest salaries possible on everyone that isn't a trainee. That way you get a high draft pick but also save up a decent amount of money. Others may disagree but that would be my approach.

Haha, yes, that's true, but- oh, right, game shape resets at season's end. Silly me. I was thinking that terrible game shape would carry over.
Also, it depends how willing you are to blow up your team for that one pick. Basically, Chikent's advice is pretty sound - sell off anyone who isn't a trainee/franchise cornerstone and keep players with ridiculously low salaries (<2000) so as to save more money. I maintain that you should only dress 3 players a game to ensure a loss.

hmm.. I see that you already are in good shape in your league. Even loosing all your next games I don't think you can have that drafter. You will still have teams before you to pick and they might have him also for a first pick when they will find him.. for me it is long shot that you will try this.

Well, posting that you found one of the best Canadian draftees ever on the forum was the wrong move. Now anyone else in your league that reads the forums knows that there is an elite prospect in the draft. If it was me and I knew that I would finish with a worse record than you (since you are already 8-6 there will be other teams with worse records even if you tank the rest of your games) I would put $40k into scouting for the rest of the season, or at least until I identified that prospect. This is why I NEVER talk about draft prospects from my draft on the forums. But if you still want to tank, sell all your players except for your trainees and replace them with a couple of cheap players. Like someone said, you only need 5 players (or even less technically)

Edit: Actually if I was in your league I wouldn't even increase my scouting. Since in a previous thread you identified this prospect even more specifically so I could probably figure it out just by doing the scouting combine. I would suggest editing your posts.

I admit I only checked the bottom teams in each conference and saw that they WEREN'T bots, but didn't check how new their teams are or how active. Still, I would go back and edit you r previous posts just to be safe. Anyways, good luck getting your desired pick. It's always a shame when high potential prospects go to bot or inactive teams.
