One of the reasons I joined this game was a thing I read about in-game coaches: that is so realistic it surprised players all the time, and was drawing a correlation with NBA coaches.

Well, the coaching during the game plain sucks. I've experienced that few times now, but today's game topped all of those. Probably I'm still angry because I lost a game I should've won to enter the playoffs, but anyway.

I put my 6k center with respectable game shape as starter and put my 44k center with strong game shape as backup and reserve. This means starter will play abot 26-30 minutes and backup-reserve around 18-22, right? WRONG.

Everty time my 44k center entered the play, my game went up greatly. Someone would expect he would play at least 18 minutes, right? I even set "Strictly follow depth chart".

Even when you set "Strictly follow depth chart", your coach benches your whole starting roster if in 4th quarter you are leading at least for 20. So why isn't true also the other way around? If you are down by at least few points, look at the bench and put better players on court!

Well, at the end, he played 11 minutes, of those only 2 in 4th quarter where I lost the game by 2 points. This happened a few times already, so I have to say this to BB developers:

You made a great game, but please don't compare this coaching program/code to any coaches in real life. Even an ordinary man with decent knowledge about basketball and no coach experience would do better. Either fix your coach or stop misleading people. Or at least let us enter number of minutes we want each of our players to play.

Well, last season I was doing the same as this season, and last season my reserves/backups were playing at least 20 minutes. Why the difference now? If a coach can kick the whole starting roster out when leading by 20, why can't he call up better players on court when losing?

Because you told him to strictly follow deep chart instead of letting him decide.

Well, you have your answer from a few people already. I know losing an important game is frustrating but going to the Help forums to find out why first might be a better idea in the future.
