i think cheating managers is the biggest threat for our loving buzzerbeater.
We are all encouraged to report anything inappropriate comes to our attention.
i personally have a very weak memory and i do forget to check on the team a filled a complain about whether or not they turned into bot teams or start selling players as a result of a big GM fine...
i strongly agree that a thread where GM decisions could be discussed should NOT exist.
But i also strongly believe that a Pillory( a static page, a list of all those managers who were punished) SHOULD exist.
i.e: akage14: $200.000 for transfers above the market limit

Kentauroi Cholargou team: banned for dublicate accounts

akage14: 3 days ban from local forum due to inappropriate behaviour etc etc

small sentences, no arguments about and no room for discussion, as things are pretty much at the moment.
BUT people will see that inappropriate gaming IS punished.New players will be discouraged to act likewise, and people who filled a report will be content that they have contributed to stop a cheater and help the game.

Pillories DO exist in almost all online games/communites.
This is a subject widely discussed in the Greek community and i would appreciate any comments.

I dont like it and I dont know how the community should benefit from it, the number of teams banned is released anyway.

Why don't you know how the community should benefit?
I think it's very simple:

(Potential) Cheaters, wo think about cheating in the future will scared off, so they don't gonna cheat.
Players who cheat currently, will also scared about it, so they stop maybe before they caught.
So I think it makes the game more fair in total

what is the point for all this secrecy anyway???
if u did something wrong-punishment is what u deserve, and since we are all invited to report anything wrong in this way we should see that someone is getting our complain seriously and is doing something by banning/giving a fine

i agree with the proposal

I think it will ruin some managers reputation and drive them off the game if they were fined a smaller amount of money for a transfer. There surely would be a witch-hunt every now and then - I think that would do more damage than improve the game.

Every report is read and review. If nothing happens, it's because GM think there is nothing wrong.

But the point is that even if something happens no one except the GMs know about it.

In real life, if someone commits murder, or steals something, it isn't tucked away in a corner, the trial is open for people to see, and so is the final decision as well as the reasons and what the punishment was.

This is what I would like to see happen here as well.

Yeah, it maybe does, but the players who look at that list, know the reputation of that players. It is not deffinetly cheating, placing a higher bid on a player. Players who look on that list, know that.
And the people who really cheat, are not worth a reputation, so place them on that list
