with his size, I'd rather have him as a SG, but his B-Skills sure are nice.

Train OD, Passing and JR this season, with Stamina during the allstar break and the season break. Use those two to three weeks to train his stamina every season until he's at least mediocre. You can train his JS and Driving later. With his ID, he'd be quite capable of stopping outside SFs, while with high driving, he could develop his slashing well enough to be more than simply a spot-up shooter.

I could probably get away with playing him as PG this season.. the league I'm in isn't that competitive unfortunately : (

I was thinking OD this season... but perhaps PA would be a good idea since I lost my last cup game due to the fact my other trainee has abysmal PA...

I don't really have experience training big men either :(

What happens if I put him as a PF on defence and PG on offence or vice versa?

Eg:

I start him as a PG -

PG on DEF
PF on OFF

This way I could put a PF with good PS to cover his lame passing... does that work?

If you start him as a PG he has to play PG on offense so that doesn't help. If you have him as PF on defense u still need someone to play PG on defense ( possibly your PF) so that probably doesn't help either

There's plenty of good advice here already. All I will add is that there's no reason to bother training him in FTs again until he's an old fart.

Also, it stinks that he started with awful OD.
