I hate to see great shooters hit like 40-50% of their free throws while shooting the same or better percentages from the field or even beyond the arc.

My suggestion is that a small percentage of the JS skill is added to the FT-skill and that the FT-skill is capped like the stamina - so we dont see 100% FT-shooters in the future.

For example 20% of the JS-skill would be added to the FT-skill, so for every 5 points in JS a player would get 1 point more in FT-shooting - maybe a ratio of 30% would be even better, so it would be 1 pop for every 3 points in JS.

I guess that would provide pretty realistic results as the small guys would be better FT-shooters than the big men that have low JS-skills in general.

i still don't like the change, because it is easyto raise the ft skill but still not a small hange in the game.

Also i don't think that they need to cap it, you could easily describe a formula who never reach 100% even with FT 95^^

Imagine for example omething likethat:

Chanche of the freethrow to go in= Freethrowskill/(Freethrowskill +2)

So for legenday +78 it would be still 98% FT percentage and yes this is just an example like it might work, but i don't think it is so far of when you start with atrocious = 0

I think that the easier solution is to make it so that free throw trains with Jump Shot and Outside Shooting (obviously at a much reduced rate, the same way that other related skills like handling are trained. Maybe a pop ever 6-8 weeks).

probadly as often as yours, even when rejected should mean not implementet because sure rejectment are rare here.

truth is that skill 13 doesn't realy shoot that much more...

So I think that scornig% on FT goes up prety fast on skills 1 to 5, and then goes up REAL slowly, and indeed might never reach 100%FT shooters.

I'd rather like to see it better divided, so that FT skill 7 or 8 for example would be closer to 50% shooters, so there is more improvement with each higher level.
That way it would still raise more with the lower skills (as 7 or 8 is not half of 20, but less).

Like it is now, there is no use to train your player beyond skill 7

it wouldn't be fair to compare those.
with FT there is no defense...

But I think a FT skill of 7, especially when combined to some fatigue, should not result in more then 50% FT shooting. And sadly, that isn't the case.

I understand it used to be good in the earlier seasons, because back then the best players where either monoskilled with max level 12, and the others didn't reach over skill 10 on any other skill.
But as the game has evolved, and there are players who reached legendary, I think it's time to decrease the %rate on the FT skills, to create room for training it up to higher levels and actually gain benefit from it.

I wanted to mean that sometimes 3p % are really ridiculous. Nobody expect that a 3p shooter gets 50% but it´d be at least at 30-35%.

But of course that i support this suggestion:) Perhaps a player with 10 at FT should shoot at 50% instead of actual percentages.

yes, but only 50% at skill 10 might be a little too harsh.
but there is plenty room for improvement to the % that they get now.
