What are these offensive tactics and how do they work, which positions shoot the ball, what pace is it played at etc.

that doesnt help remotely on what these new defenses and offenses do.

From season 14 news item:
As announced a few seasons ago, we are finally ready to introduce two new tactics; Box-and-one & Isolation!. Box-and-one is a defensive tactic, where four players play in the zone defense protecting the basket and the fifth player plays a man-to-man defense guarding the best offensive player on the other team. This is designed to prevent that player from getting the ball as often, as the man to man defender can overplay defensively knowing that he has a zone backup. Isolation is an offensive tactic. In an Isolation offense, the team will try to find their best offensive player and clear out an area for him to create his own shot. For offense this means Isolation will attempt to clear out for the best exterior/interior player depending on which variant you choose. On defense, this means the defense will place a single man defender on the best exterior/interior player.

That is all the BBs have given us. Esteemed BB scientist JosefKa has further suggested that the offensive tactics have similar pacing to base offense. There are various threads in various forums that discuss the tactics in more detail but I do not think anyone has made any concrete discoveries about them yet.

what about experience ? does any of these teams play these new tactics ? are they good ? :) please, post comments ^^

I have played Inside iso for a few games and from my experience it results on your team getting more outside shots, i think i may have read somewhere that it depends on a player driving the ball inside or passing inside to draw the defense, then the ball is kicked out hopefully for an open shot. i played it last game in a PL match and my SF who is probably my best scorer took 33 shots for 44 points, far more than any other players

There I managed to stop their high scorer quite OK. At least bhind the 3point line.
As U can see (8169656) he is able to shoot with a higher accuracy normally. Im still not happy with the Box n One because 33 points is way too much for him. Thats more than his average though the othrr teams dont play Boxn1 and their OD ratings suck compared to mine (mostly). Did he took my man2man defender (best OD) inside and school him there though they were playing RnGun!?!?!?!?!?!

I think this is absolutely true, unless you have a super freakishly good big-man (or big-men). So even when playing Inside Iso, your team would suck if you have bad outside because when the gurds receive the ball from the big man who are unable to shoot, they'll shoot poor and miss quite a lot. So when you don't have a super big-men, I look this tactic more as an outside focused offense.

This game is based on matchups. So if your inside player is considerably better than his opponent (he doesn't have to be freakishly good just relatively better than his defender), your inside player will get a lot of shot attempts. If your inside players are equal or worse than their defenders you will probably see quite a few long jumpers playing inside isolation.

I guess you're right.
But my thinking is that although inside iso will try to make an open shot for big-men, I think it'd still be hard, as inside is usually well guarded with C and PF. In order for inside iso to work efficiently, I believe that the big-men need to be much much better than the opponent's big-men. If offense big-men were relatively better than the defense big-men, the big-men will still attempt many shots I guess, but if it was so, I doubt this tactic will work efficiently.
I don't really think inside iso and outside iso are very effective offensive tactics (but ofc it varies from teams to teams).
