what is the cut off date for new players to play in the playoffs?

like if i bought a new player just before the last regular season game, will he qualify for finals?

or does it have to be like 2 weeks before playoffs begin?

appreciate any help

the cutoff is just after the last league game is played (depending on which country you are) so if you grab a player before then then they will be playoff egligible
