Hellow people,
Congrats, India has become the champion of ICC World Cricket Cup 2011 today, after beating Sri Lanka.
As we play in Indian leagues, all of us should be proud!!! (even though I'm little sad cuz I live in Sri Lanka :P).
Let's transfer this spirit to BB!!!

Sri Lanka put up a tough score but the team pulled it through. Now let's see what happens in our own playoffs. My predictions for promotion are:
II.1 The Cows
II.2 Plateaus
II.3 Iran Proud
Wildcard: Le Grand Cox

Sri Lanka's start was terrible. If they had batted much better at the beginning, they may have had the chance. But India's batting lineup is really strong, so who knows...if they batted seriously, I'm pretty sure they can make 300 runs easily.

There are no potential teams in div II.4, so it's kind of sad for me to have a bot team in div I. You played well against Le Grand Cox last week, you have a good chance of winning the championship of div II.2 and promote to div I.

My understanding is that a bot team will promote but then be immediately replaced by the team with the best record in Div. II. In order these would be:
1) The Cows,
2) Le Grand Cox
3) Plateaus
4) Mumbai Indians (on point differential).

Iran Proud is the only non-bot team in II.3 so they are guaranteed promotion which leaves three slots open. If the Mumbai Indians defeat The Cows (they lost by 20 last time), they will go through and the Plateaus will not. Otherwise, it will be the first 3.

Of course, this depends also on whether any of the bot teams survive their relegation series. If they do, then all four of us will go through. There could also be an unexpected surprise in the playoffs. I only beat the Yaduers by 10, whereas I had expected to win by 20!

Whoever that is to promote, as long as it'll make div I better with active teams, I'd be greatful. 4 bots in div I is simply sad :P Your team has a good chance of promoting. Hopefully you can promote to div I and have real competitions :)

The game scores are sometimes not as expected. Sometimes you lose games which you should have been able to win and vice versa. But ofc that's one aspect of BB that makes it even more enjoyable.
Come to div I :) You'll learn a lot more about the game.

Yes, it is sad. You look at other countries and people log in every day in Div. IV. We just picked up 5 new teams. I've sent some of them introductory mails. Let's see if they stick.

In general, there is a big gap in the ratio of those who stick to the game to those who just leave. As only a few managers sign up in Indian league every week, I'm not surprised that only a few managers choose to stick to this game.
I'm pretty sure we do have about 40 teams logging in on daily or at least weekly basis, so what we want is for them to interact on the forum and share stuff. It'd make BB much more enjoyable.
