A new season will be arriving shortly, which means it's almost offseason processing time. As part of every offseason, I like to update the Canadian scouting lists, and take a look at how our best prospects have been developing. To start things off, I've gone over the current 18 year olds (who will be 19 soon), and have produced some very rough player rankings. These rank lists are based on development from a U21 point of view.
Right after the draft, I highlighted which players had the best starting skills (in my opinion), and the initial list can be found here:

(17732454)One nice thing about this group of prospects is that so many of the top guys have MVP+ potential. If things go well, we might see some of these names not just on the U21, but on the NT as well...in season 22 or so. :P
