Well, I have some bad guard trainees that are not worth mention so I planed to give these 2 guys 1 position training at C these season (mostly ID) and get 1 more trainee to train with them. I believed 2nd is better suited for PF (I'm aware his ID is a bit low)

Considering that you guys think 2nd can get good SF I may sell 1st and stick to guard training for a while (I got a lot better players at C and PF than on PG, SG so my team will be more competetive if I do guard training).

I dont understand why you would want to sell him. I think some people get blindsided by age and potential. He could get that guy very easily to 100k big guy which most teams can never afford players with more of a salary anyway. He already has average to above average secondaries for a big guy so he wouldnt have to waist training on that.

I think the biggest problem people have when they give advice is they think of the player only and not how he would fit into a team. Triple wondrous is a monster big guy in any case and he could have that done by 22 and all of a sudden he has a franchise player. After that his salary is going to skyrocket to the point its not worth keeping that one guy instead of building a solid team.

I think you're making a mistake by selling him personally. Especially considering the merchandising benefit you would get from keeping a guy you drafted and turned him into a nice rotation player.

I agree with Southpaw. I recently trained up a 19yr old rookie with 4700 salary at draft in S13 (meaning a worse player than this) to the U21 NT in 2 seasons (with a 3 week injury). I'm not proposing that he could do the same with his rookie, but that guy can make a pretty decent PF in 2 seasons, 3 in the outside if he trained up the inside skills. The only issue for me is his stamina - That atrocious can really mess with his ratings. In any event, its better than trying to sell him off for 100k or so.

Also, he's in D3. I think he's got the time to train up a franchise player, that this guy can be.

Are No 1 guy realy can be trained to 100k+ sallary in 2-3 seasons? woow.
I just promoted to DIII and I?m playing BB for half a season. Plans for S16 is to try to not get demoted to DIV, so, I have time to train my players.

It's indeed possible to get to about 100k in about 3 seasons. My C Vitus Marin was at 84k after four seasons - so yes, it is possible.
