Hi all,
please help with my young rookie. He is flagged as center player. How I should train him ? Or maybe I shouldn't ?

Weekly salary: $ 3 768

Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: pitiful Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: awful Handling: pitiful
Driving: inept Passing: pitiful

Rebounding: pitiful Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: mediocre

Experience: atrocious

He would make a good small forward, you should train his od/is/id, and maybe a little rebounding. But definitely od since its so low and he would a good small forward.

And you think he is worth of it ? For SF he should get some JS/JR as well I think. Am I right ?

Well since he's a rookie i think he's worth it, although he is 19, it would be great if he was 18. But yeah jump shot and jump range would be great if you could get both to strong or proficient, it would take a long time especially for his jump shot.

I've heard that it was hard to train small forwards, but i've have success training them. I was working on jump shot for a small forward and he popped 2 out of 3 weeks. You can train jump shot for him for a couple of weeks at least, and add some jump range. Even though he's 19 he should still train fast, because he's a rookie fresh out of the draft, i think he's worth it, especially with him having good potential, perrinial allstar.

Though the potential doesn't determine speed.

When my small forward popped 2 out of 3 weeks, it was jump shot training.

not worth it. sell him and find a better rookie in the TL. the one with the skills and position you want.
