I wouldn't give the first guy the time of day because of that defense. The other two guys are fine. Salary-wise, I had similar players as back ups in D.V (and I still have some of them now in D.IV). They could definitely do a job as rotation players too for minutes management.

I don't think their salaries are too expensive.

I would think about selling him. I typically look for at least mediocre (preferably respectable or better) on the main defense for all of my players. I'm new at this, but I am shooting for an 11 or so man roster for the season - 3 trainees and a starter and back up for each other position.

You can often find players on the transfer list for cheap. I grabbed a 29 year old player with respectable OD, ID, Jump Shot, and Inside Shot for 11k a few seasons ago and he is still my back up SF. It might take a little bit of looking on the transfer list, but there are a few out there. For players that are not trainees, you don't need to worry about potential too; people often overpay for potential.

dude d5 usa is so easy to win there was a guy last season who won it with all guys he bought each week for 1k each - cant do that this season due to the salary floor but you probably need just your trainees and 3 other guys to win

After a quick look through your league, I think those players should be fine. Some tips for you (some are given out a lot, so forgive me if you have heard them before):

Enthusiasm management is key. TIE against teams you know you can beat easily. Never use CT except for the playoffs.

Start building up your arena. I see you have no luxury boxes. Expand your arena a little bit at a time. Also, your cheep seats look a little expensive.

Get a training schedule. It's not clear to me what you are training based off of your roster. Get 3 decent 18 year-olds, try to get them 48 minutes a week as a PG or C depending on what you want to train, and in 2-3 seasons you'll have 3 guys making 15k+/week

Hope this helps
