Seems like it would be pretty easy to implement...just run the MVP algorithm on all the new players.

That would be the case in most cases...I guess it would also include players from new teams as well.

Doesn't the current MVP logic ignore the players of the teams that have been promoted? That would mean the rookies of promoted teams would no chance at this award, either.

No...my player was the league MVP last season and I was promoted.

Glad to read that. In all the DIVs I checked out, much lesser players had been selected MVP and the best players were ignored for all awards.
