i have a question related to the topic. when new people sign up to the game, don't they take control of bot teams? if thats the case, investing too much in the draft would be a mistake because eventually bot teams will be filled with newcomer human users and they will probably get the better ones in the draft because they will have the first choice.

yes, they'll get the first choice. But how many of them are going to sign up in the last weeks of the season, only investing enough for perhaps 6 or 8 draft points? These guys won't change much about the general outlook of the draft class.

If tehy sign upm early, it's different, but then, you can also react in time and reduce your draft investment.

Your league is terrible ;) Good for you. What I would do is sell everyone with salary over 6k, (except trainees) and still win (looking at your league, the hardest competition you will be facing is 2-4 k players) Just haul in tons of money and invest 20k/week in draft. Also try to save 500,000 during the season(this shouldn't be hard because your league is so weak) and when you promote, buy 2-3 starters with that money, and play your trainees in the other starting spots.
