Click "Remove from Favorites" below the threads on the left side. As far as I've seen, old leagues are manual removals so that you can keep tags on your old league if you like.

Yes indeed, I have to remove old league, because really pissed me everytime there was writing someone who promoted already. So I will not do the same thing to them.
