In return, owners have agreed to a minimum salary for each league, linked to the shared television contract. Teams with total salaries below this floor will contribute the remainder to player pensions.

Guys, I'm sorry if this has been discussed in another thread, maybe u can lead me to it...
Otherwise, what does this mean? What's the floor ? assuming the TV contract is 150k, so if you have total salaries below 150k, u pay the difference or what?

Ok and when do you pay it?
In my league im one of the most experienced and there are many guys who are new. they dont even have enough money to buy players up to get to the floor. Do they pay the fine for one week at the end of the season or how does it work?

Can you keep us updated on this? I'd hate to see a feature like this (that is designed to punish tanking) hurt the ability of a small country to grow.

In my league there are 7 players under the TV contract revenues (floor). And that's in DI. I'm not saying whether it is a good or a bad idea, just curious to know how it works.
One of the managers told me that he did not pay any "tax" in today's financial update.

Hopefully there's a "grace period" wherein new owners are immune to the "tax" until they have a chance to build up a bit. maybe 14 weeks or so?

I seem to recall something as well, but I can't seem to find it in the News post, nor in the Season 16 or Player Salaries Floor threads in Global.
