I really don't like his IS, but everything else about him is great. You can make him an outside SF, but I'd actually advise you to make him a guard. Either way, his OD will need work now.

oh, and which kind of JS training did you give him? If you still want to make him a SF, JS for Forwards is the way to go, as it does train IS as secondary training.

thanks for your reply , i was considering playing him as a guard but im kinda new to this game and was not sure if that would have a detrimental effect by playing him out of position. Should i play him as a center for a while so i can focus on getting his inside shot up , i have an experienced small forward who i would like so see play also so it may be a good thing changing his position over time. I trained Jump shot for 2 weeks , was going to train outside shooting but my shooting guard is great from downtown so i didnt see the need yet.

If you want to make him a SF, play him as C to bring up his IS. If you want to make him a guard, don't bother and continue training him as such. Both ways forward are possible.

playing guys out of their suggested position isn't bad, the suggested position just tells you at which of the five positions he earns his highest salary (and, money-hungry as those buggers are, he'll take the highest salary he can get). Playing guys out of position has no detrimental effects besides the obvious skill mismatches.

ok , i played him as a point guard in my last game and he excelled , shot equal if not better to what he was in SF , he got more assists and fewer turnovers , i am seriously considering playing him as point guard and training his OD HA PA to a strong level

That might be a good idea. Don't forget his shooting skills though, you will want him to be able to shoot threes at a reliable rate so when there is a need to chuck up a shot late during a possession, he has a good chance of still making it. Consider making him a Jason Kidd type player who can even guard SFs and pull down some rebounds (as he already does) and who passes first but still doesn't hesitate to shoot the three. I'd advise you to train the following schedule:

1 week OD for PG
1 week Passing for PG
1 week OD for PG
1 week Handling for PG
1 week OD for PG
1 week JR for PG

once you're finished, start from scratch. During the All-Star week and when you're out of the playoffs, you can train his JS, FTs or Stamina, depending on what you need from him. His Stamina is OK for now but will drop. Consider training it once per season. His FTs are already reliable, too, but could be trained a little further, until prolific or so. The main chunk of that time should be devoted to JS training though, as that is where his improvement will make the biggest difference for you.
