hi guy's.

I've been playing this game for over 10 seasons now, but each season, new things pop up. usually, i'm able to figure out why somehing happened, but in this case, i'm at a loss.

i've looked at the problem from every possible angle, yet i can't find the answer to the 'why' question.


here is my 'problem'

i've played 6 games in this season so far.
First home game ==> win
second game: away(rival) ==> win
3rd game: home ==> win
4th game: away ==> win
5th game: away(TV) ==> win
6th game: home ==> win

my stadium was sold out for game 3. I haven't sold players, haven't changed my staff, haven't put a single player on the TL list during this periode.

However, for the 6th game, my stadium attendance was little over 1k lower than in my 3rd game. In the past, whenever i had a winning streak going on, or won my away games, then usually my stadium attendance was better than the week before it.

I've had 2 cup games, and i've won both those cup games.

I can't see any reason to why my stadium attendance would go down for my 6th game. If my second game ( against my rival) had anything to do with it, then you'd expect the same effect to happen when you win an away game on TV, followed up by a home game. I can't find any logical answer for this.

For a while, i though that it might be a bug, but before i go off and claim that it's a bug, i first wanted to see if anyone has a possible explanation for this, one which i haven't though of yet.

That's only speculation here, but perhaps there's a random factor involved. 1k does look like a large fluctuation though.

Another influence could be your opponents strength. If your 6th game opponent was a bottomfeeder, your attendance was probably a bit lower.

opponent in game 3 was 4th guy, who had 1 win and 2 losses.

Game 6: opponent was one game (and not 2 games like in game 3) behind me.

In your polls, do you have 5 stars across the board? If less, there's no reason to expect attendance to go up indefinitely. I've had my polls decline on a winning streak before, and attendance usually dropped right along with it. Fans can get upset you didn't win a game by enough, for instance.

hmmm. i just noticed something in the polls tho. I've got nearly 5 stars everywhere, expect for the question: the team manager is working hard to improve his team. I dropped from 4.5 balls to 2.5 balls their... (don't understand the drop tho)

And your last sentence, about fans being upset that i'm not winning games by enough, is an interesting one. MY cupgames were pretty poor performances up till now ( i'll be exiting the cup tomorrow, so i guess fans won't be to happy with that either...)

i had 4 stars in familiar with stars, and 4.5 in manager is working to improve the team when i checked it last. The drop in working hard was a rather big surprize... anyhow, that will soon change :D should be interesting which impact it will have on my team tho.
