I would like to offer an improvment for the game.

When i set offence and defence tactic i sometime have to replace my best players and set less good players that will be more effective for that tactic.

For exmple a good inside shooting center is far less affective in motion tactics is he has bad jump shoot.

Another exmple for the lack of a tactic possiblitis is that i can't use a only defence of only offence players...if i put an only defence player he will do good on defence but will destroy my team attack and miss a lot of shoots that i don't even want him to take! what abut bad passing? why can't i tell a player with bad passing to be less involved in the offence game?

All the things above are realistic! kobe is more involved in the game then other players becouse the coach say to give him the ball, shaq don't shoot 3 point shoot becouse he's not good at it and the coach says it,you don't see a clamsy center trying to dribll and pass and arrange the game anywhere.

I want this game to offer me a system that would give me some of the next for each player in my line-up:shoot most shoots inside\outside,be involved in the offence bulding(for players with good passing and handeling)\don't and get more offence shoots(for good attack players)\don't(for defence only players to minimize their lack of attack skills and still make them useful.

The current system just "drop" all players on the field with no tactic orders for each,it's very realistic that a point guard will get other orders from a center and so will play in other ways, here it's only the position and the skills for that position i think there is a big place for a change here.

You don't bother me i want this to be talked as much as possible so we can gather ideas and present them so feel free to do it (:

I liked your idea about do\don't shoot last second, you can mark the player you want to take the last ball and it's great and also VERY realistic of course, the other idea looks like a time wasting tactics and i don't like it...and it will take time to create and i don't see any good reason to invest that time...sorry,maybe others will like that idea.

Got any more? (:

So you say to your defensive player not to be active offensively, but your opponent's players will play off him, and he'll end up with the ball anyway to make offensive decisions and take last second shots.
You already have different tactics to direct the traffic. i.e. if you have a defence only guard try Patient instead of Motion, I can assure you the other guard will take the majority of the shots.

You'r right B-U-T then i'm limited to patient...why can't i combine and decide what's good for each player on his own?

I want my good shotting guard to throw 3 point shoots in all tactics why limiting my? In the option i want you can optimize your line up! why trying diffrent tactics that each have good and bad affect? i want the players to play as i want, each with his own set of orders, isn't that A LOT better?

It will grow the options each manager here has and will max the tactics play, and it's realistic and SO MISSING HERE!!

Can you imagine phile jackson ordering to "move the ball in patent way"? or...say give the ball to kobe
What's more realistic?

Actually that´s what Phil Jackson did. Triangle. Triangle. Triangle. Explain the player his role in the tactic. Not vice versa.

Zwei Dinge sind unendlich, die Dummheit und das All...

As far as I'm aware if GE works out that your 3pt specialist will have an advantage in his match up, it will try to go to him on the outside and not to your defensive player.

Yes but it's limited in it fanction,i want him to take most of his shoots for 3 points and in ANY tactic it's in a good case the 3 point shoots are about a thired of the shoots the player take's,and still power fowerds and even centers take shoots, and what if i got a good center and in motion tactics he don't shoot almost at all? i actully loose that good attack skills of him becouse the tactic i choose can't use him in an optimal way...there is no tactic that allow you to optimize your players to the edge the que is how much players are you using well and much are you not-why not use them all as you want and need to?

I see your point with 3s. I guess what you can do for now is to grow a 3pt specialist with atrocious DR and play outside tactics :)

your c etc. shoot so often, because it look more succesful then your "kobe". And maybe even Kobe would pass for team succes.
