After "holding" my last opponent to 3-13 free throw shooting, I checked my statistics and found that my opponents only convert 52.5% of their free throws, well below the second best with 63.3%. Is this just pure coincidence?

yea..it just means no one is training free throws..

I never heard anyone say that HCA will make visiting team shoot slightly lower ft's either

What we really need is a new PR manager skill: "Foam finger man"

Get those babies waving behind the hoop, opposing team bricks all their FTs.

Haha, good idea. In general I think a couple more specialties for staff, maybe 1 of each, would be good for the game.

Could be a specialty for the doctors from Finland ^^ (their skiing team got caught with forbidden blood values twice)

Hmm.. and maybe swedish coaches could get overconfidence specialty :P (Ice hockey finals) ..

While I "know" there's no such thing as FT defense, I had a similar observation. In buzzermanager the FT% of the Opponents is calculated. And I was surprised at the range and spread I still found after 9 games in my league.

With a range from 58.1% to 73% and a Mean of 65.27 (SD=4.06). I find the SD to be quite high for a something that should be about equal across teams.

I checked for a difference based on Big 8 versus Great 8 based teams and noticed it was 66.8% versus 63.7%. But this difference was not significant (p=.13). (maybe it was significant before the crossover games)

So uhhhhh....yeah just surprised by the spread, but maybe it will even out more when the cross-over games are done and all teams will have played eachother once.

Crunchy! If you eat fast enough

I don't see why FT would necessarily be equal across teams. Players have a wide range of different FT skill and some managers train FT and some don't so there could be a lot of difference.
