Right now a few of my starters are playing about 40 minutes a game. They're stamina ranges from inept to strong, so I was wondering would playing a faster paced offense help get them off the court?

In theory, yes. because they would get tired easier, but not the most reliable way to maintain your minutes

blow out wins also help reduce the minute D: but year Terfu more or less covered it.

Another way if u're jus out to tire your players out (and prob lose games too) is to FCP.

(A) Do you want to get them off the court because youre afraid they will play too many minutes and their game shapes will drop?

(B)Or do you want to get them off the court because youre afraid their staminas arent high enough?

If (A), I can tell you that I normally use PTB or Run and Gun offenses (fast paces), but 3-2 or 2-3 zones (slower paces). All of my starters have staminas ranging from inept to strong. When I play them as a starter only (no reserve or backup), I've noticed that they usually play for 35-42 minutes. If your backup is backing up two (or more) starters, then make him backup (and be a reserve) only one starter. If you do this with a faster paced offense, you should be getting playing time in the 30s from your starters.

If (B) I believe inept stamina is alright for 40 minutes, and strong stamina is very good.
