Could someone please clarify Game Shape, what it does and how to improve it, I read on the help pages not to train it but my whole teams games shape is all around inept or mid core.

Players need to play between 48 and 75 minutes per week. Anything above or below that can cause GS to drop. Also note that GS does have a bit of a random factor, but if you ensure proper minutes you should be ok.

Here above 100% correct. From my experience if you give wrong timing to your player for some weeks then it will be hard to get a great GS, it seems GS has effects in a medium term

How does this happend? When one of your players rises two or drops to skills in game shape? Aweek ago i had a player rise by two skills to proficient in game shape. One of my players this week droped from proficient to respectable (Because i played around 90 or so minutes). But how does a player's game shape rise two skills? And has anyone elese seen this from one of their players?

Yeah, it's not that uncommon.
Game shape has sub-levels. So it's not really 2 whole levels. Like going from from 7.9 (respectable) to 9.0 game shape for example.

But it could be. I picked up a trainee off the transfer list 2 weeks ago and he was at inept game shape. I played him about 60-70 minutes that week and he immediately jumped 3 levels to respectable.

Well, he seemed to be asking about when playing consistent minutes:
Aweek ago i had a player rise by two skills to proficient in game shape.

The guy you picked up hadn't played a single minute in 3 weeks & had horrible game shape! But yeah, in situations like yours you can get those huge jumps.

Yes, it's nothing unusual. I don't know how GS rises 2 skills, it just does. If you manage your minutes, it's possible to jump from 7 to 9.

This link is to the English - Help forum. It is a very helpful set of links to threads about everything Buzzer related including Gameshape. I would strongly recommend managers refer to this when they have questions about anything!

There is a table of contents in the second post to allow quick and easy use.

I like to think playing a player 5 or 6 quarters a week is good enough to keep them in peak game shape. Any more or less and they are likely to be fatigued or rusty, ie their gameshape may fall to respectable or below.

Dont underestimate how important gameshape can affect player (and team) performance!
