Is it worth the extra 3k a week to get a basic doctor instead of a minimal doctor? I've had a minimal doctor this whole season and haven't experienced any injuries. Hopefully this isn't a jinx. I have my league won easily and I'm making about 46k per week. I don't want my star trainees to get injured though. Is it worth it?

I carry a Lvl 3 Doctor. IT is hard to say if it pays off. It gives me more peace of mind and I do think there are less injuries and quicker healing times.

But I cant really say statistically how large the discrepancy is.

You might as well get a level 3 doctor, if only to get one with the "massage" special ability.

Helps reduce gameshape reductions when guys play too many minutes per week, and the effect of the special abilities are constant regardless of staff level.

(40900.10) - maybe this helps, is it a table the BB released for the old personal system, but if you devide the personal level by two it should be a good estimate also for the new system.

It could be that the BB cut the max injury to 4 weeks meanwhile, but i am not sure by it.

The other think for a above minimal doctor is the massage speciality, in my eyes ;)

I just started a couple of months ago and my thinking is that I don't have enough $$$ to spend it on everything. So carrying a better doctor is way down the list of priorities, especially since you just told us that you've yet to have an injury and a better doctor isn't necessarily going to make injuries disappear altogether. I'd rather spend the excess money on my arena, increase my weekly profits and bank as much money as I can for the future.

a balance between arena, modest trainees and modest trainer will be all the $$$ investment you need to secure an increase in long term income and performance on court.

in my time as manager so far i have had less injuries than some other managers. this may be down to luck, or perhaps it is down to them playing their players 100+ minutes a week and breaking them.

aside from this i did notice the number of injuries in my roster fall with a higher level doctor.
i think i got a level 3 cheap with low salary (and massage speciality) after i chose my trainer/trainees and started building arena seats.
i now have a level 5 with massage and ive just had my first injury in 2 seasons.
in future i will stick with level 5 for the peace of mind and knowing my trainees might get that extra week or two of training as a result of good health
