Hello I have 5 good players and I need to manage their minutes. Also I have 5 shitty players just for scrimmages.

My players have played 40 38 38 35 31 minutes this week so far.

If I put them in Start they will play more minutes than they need. If I put them in backup - they will play less minutes they need.
Because I am playing against strong opponent and usually I choose STRICTLY FOLLOW.

What will happen if I choose LET COACH DECIDE, COACH PICKS FROM DC and DC UNTIL 4Q.

What are the features of these substitution options? What is Your advice? I want to get 60~ mins to each of them. I can use 5 additional crappy players.

thanks in advance

the first four would land up in good-excellent minutes as backups, the last one needs foul trouble(or the starter he is backuping) or a blow out to get exellents minutes.

If you let coach decide and have stronger starter, they will play longer then with strictly follow. If the backup are stronger, then the starters then they will play longer ... Coach picks until 4 should be in betwen those two tactics, strctly follow the first three and coach decides the last but at least in past days it behaved sometimes weird don't know if it was a bug or someone figured out the reason for it(at least i don't play it)

Sorry but I'm trying to figure out why anybody would need 5 crappy players on their roster for scrimmages?

Aren't you giving training minutes to at least 1-2 players? That would make a couple of those guys pointless. Not to mention that you only need to actually start 3 players for a legal lineup. So 2 trainees plus 1 crappy guy would do the trick for any scrimmage.

Hell, if you're just going to play 5 crappy guys, don't bother booking scrimmages.

i think coach picks until 4 means that coach will pick from depth chart until 4th. In the 4th quarter, it will be strictly follow depth chart.

They are to help other players get good minutes for good gameshape. I played 2 league games and after that some players (who was in backup) did not get enough minutes. Like I mentioned above. Without 5 crappy players those 5 good players will play 48 minutes scrimmage. But Your idea is worth checking out. Also those 5 players are native with very small salaries 1.5-1.7k. I was testing merchandise influence.
