If a player has low stamina, does he play less? Or does the coach leave him in to just play poorly once he runs out of energy?

If I have a player that has atrocious stamina, is it better to play him as a backup instead of starter?

I have these three players (Their salaries should be a decent estimate of the skills--though Meng has horrible outside skills--, because I havent trained them):

Piotr Bujakiewicz (3210349), Power Forward, Weekly salary: $ 23 713, Game Shape: Strong, Stamina: Strong
Meng Yifang (11821903), Center, Weekly salary: $ 45 007, Game Shape: Strong, Stamina: Atrocious
Virgantas Kšanauskas (4428172), Center, Weekly salary: $ 57 728, Game Shape: Proficient, Stamina: Respectable

Should I:
A) Start Meng and Virgantas, and use Piotr to back up and reserve for both PF and C?
or
B) Start Piotr and Virgantas, and use Meng to back up and reserve for both PF and C?

The coach will substitute your player when he thinks that the player is tired enough that the sub can play better depending on the depth chart. I would still put someone with atrocious stamina as the starter if there skill sets is much better.

I would: A) Start Meng and Virgantas, and use Piotr to back up and reserve for both PF and C
