You will have to be more specific:) As a team I would go for Inside Defense and Rebounding

in my opinion its best to have a balanced team than to specialize in something. When you are really good in something, it opens up weaknesses that opponents can "relatively" exploit. But if you think the team is already really good in ALL aspects and you want to specialize for some reason, then i would go for outside shooting because it makes your team more exciting.

When I say specialize in something I mean as a team. One skill would be proficent and the other skills would be respectable and average. From what you guys are saying it is very bad to specialize but to me I think if you had good rebounding even if you missed you could get the rebound and try again. IF you had good inside defense then teams would be forced to do outside shooting, which is not very high percentage. All of them have their ups and downs but I am asking which is best to specialize in I understand that being a balanced team may be the way to go but if everyone does that and you were the different team you could either make it big or not make it.

You could possible specialise somewhat but only if your have a solid base. For example your big men might have Sensational ID/IS/Rebounding.. If u want a defensive team u could get ID to Wondrous, if u want an offensive team u could take IS to Wondrous. If your defensive specialist had only Proficient IS and Prodigious ID he would never score. If your offensive specialist has Prodigious IS and Proficient ID he would score but give up a lot of points. Personally i would probably choose a more defensive team but your team still needs to be able to score enough to win so u need some balance. There is more then one way to win though so u will never get consensous on specialist skills.

Priorities:
1. inside shooting (teams with high inside shot usually gets a high FG%, thats great offense)
2. both ID/OD (you're going nowhere without defense)
3. PASSING ( you should prioritize this because it will make your offense flow better which will make your FG% rise)
4. rebounding (to secure defensive rebound and get some offensive rebound)

I did not add outside shooting because i noticed that some teams even though they have very high outside shooting they are not still consistent with their three pointers. Plus, I think that no matter how high your outside shooting is it will never be 55%+ on average. (ive seen teams with good inside shot they can get FG% as high as 60% on average)

I disagree, just take a look at his team's stats. His team's high FG% players are Big men. 2 of the 3 highest FG% of your team are big men.

then where do the two of you disagree? He said that post players (aka Big Men) usually do have the better FG%.
