Hi I currently have 13 scout points ( 3 per week ) and most likely 20 points before draft starts
It seems like i am going to be 5th and thus drafting in the middle. I was wondering how this 2 works
1) Scouting combined
other then showing age and height do they show other things?
2) Group Demonstration
This only scouts 1ball-2ball prospects? Doesn't that means lousy players?
And thus to the point which should i use?

1) Scourting combine only reveals age and height
2) In most cases yes.
I would probably just individually scout the draftees. Don't use either scouting combine or group demonstration. Scout the players with 5 balls then 4 balls, etc. By the time you use scouting combine you will only have ten points left, so it isn't worth it.

The answer to question 2 is wrong. The initial grey ball ratings are inaccurate so u should find some 5 and 4 star ratings if u do the group demo. However if u don't have many points other options may be better.

No don't do that. There is no correlation between the grey balls and their actual potential. Use the combine to get the players of the ages and heights you want and then examine the players who fit into your training plan.
I made the mistake my first year of just starting at the top and working down. What a mistake!

If there is no correlation why even have them?

Just a way to justify the initial order, I suppose. But I'm sure that you're just as likely to find a great candidate from the bottom of the initial list as from the top.

I won't say that there is no correlation at all, there might be a little change in probabilities of having a great prospect.

I think there must be some correlation, otherwise why would they give you the group demonstration option?
