This is a suggestion how to discourage long time users and not how to encourage newbies.

I want to scratch and claw my way past teams that have been collecting NBBA and II money for as long as I've been around. I don't want to reach the top just because the good teams were forced to quit.

... even though some teams have done this of their own free will... (30423)

As a recently new user I hate this idea. I love bugging all the guys that have played since back when Firefox was just a bird. (bad joke there btw)

Although I do think it is a little unfair that some of the fiscal tactics like complete tanking are not in play and have given some of the user base a slight advantage, I don't see anything they older user have as something that is insurmountable. If I could change anything I'd give out a little more cash when players started, (20k a week for an entire season would be my suggestion).

I do like the idea of stadium maintenance though. Not sure how I'd implement it but it would make stadium building always necessary so if you aren't building seats you lose a few slowly (2-5% a season maybe).

I do wish there were additional fun things for newer players. Sophomore tournaments (2nd year teams or maybe 3rd) maybe, although that might be tough to implement. buzzer beaters brightest (little b3)

In conclusion... we need to try to get more user not to try to alienate an established group of the user base.

I agree maybe new teams should start with a bigger arena or less pathetic players.

I coach a small nation's U21 team and while it is true that there can be a little more cash around because you can stay in the top division with a weaker team they do miss out of so many benefits of playing in a larger country such as promotion bonuses, interesting and long cup runs, a wide variety of teams to play against and the needed level of difficulty to develop their own managerial skills. The B3 seems to be no different from local leagues where any team that has saved for several seasons can put together a ridiculous multi-million dollar team for a short run. This is not a small nation or a B3 issue, it applies to the entire game. To be honest it applies in real sport as well - just look at English Permier League Soccer - it is just that the NBA evens things out a lot with their salary cap.

It has been suggested many times that there be a salary cap for each division like the salary floor. Just like the NBA, teams could go above it but would pay $2 for ever $1 they were above it. This wont stop teams from having Venemous Scorpion like rosters, but it would make it a lot harder.

PS: I have no idea what this has to do with new teams. My suggestion forever for new teams is to give them at least one player who is solid right away and at least one player who is worth training rather than an entire roster of rubbish who should all be sacked right away and replaced with guys for $10,000 or less from the TL.
