With his size, you shouldn't make him an outside or even balanced SF. The question boils down to either inside SF or PF, which are very similar positions. Perhaps the following skillset could be interesting:
14-8-12 13-17-9 15-15-13-4
This player would predominantly be a PF, but could play SF just as well if needed. If his outside defense isn't good enough that way, make that OD 14 and reduce his Driving a little. That way, you get versatility on your forward positions.
If you don't like that idea and don't want to go for a tweener, make him a PF because of the size. However, even in that case don't train his inside skills that far; it'll be incredibly expensive to do. IS/ID/RB 15 for a player is already 80k in salaries minimum, no matter the other skills.
