i had a point guard (that's why i bought him, i want 2 at each position) and he just switched and became an SF. HELP!

the suggested position don't affect the performance of a player, you obviously trained him(JS?) so the system thinks now he fits best at SF, but he is a better Point Guard then before.

PS: especially with SF the system is often not right where he performs best. It often declares player with a good shot and low OD to SF.

That isn't problem, you can play any player on any position, it doesn't matter which position is shown on his detail. He switched position just because of training.

but he hasn't improved in jump shot. and a PF also moved to SF.

The game decided that his salary is highest as a SF but he is better at of than he was before

I'm guessing he means that he trained jumpshot, but didn't get a pop.

But your player can still change positions, since their jumpshot skill with sublevels increased. Hence the switch of positions.

Even if your trained players do not get a green arrow, they improve in the area in which they are trained. In your player's case, his JS improved enough that his salary calculation changed him from PG to SF.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

The game decides a players best position as the one that would give him the highest salary if the season would end right now. The game calculated his SF salary to be higher than his PG salary so his "best"'position changed from PG to SF, but he is a better PG that he was before he was trained.
