Hi there,

i'd like some advice for my "SF of the Future" :

Power Forward

Weekly salary: $ 3 950
Role: rotation player
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 27200
Age: 18
Height: 6'9" / 206 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: strong

Jump Shot: average
Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: respectable
Handling: respectable↑
Driving: average
Passing: mediocre↑
Inside Shot: respectable
Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable
Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: respectable
Free Throw: proficient
Experience: pitiful

My Goal is to promote in 3 Seasons, and this guy to be my starting SF by then. Is that realistic? He got training with the Guards this season, but is really slow on training OD. Next Season I still plan on training guards, so after that i'd like to switch to big man training to make my frontcourt younger.

Has someone advice for me?

Greetz and thx,

BigAl

He's probably a little too tall for a really good SF. I'd make him a PF though. OD is nice for that already, one more pop won't hurth though. Try to get 2 pops each in JR and Passing, and train his JS, too. He could look like this after next season:

Jump Shot: prominent
Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: strong
Handling: proficient
Driving: strong
Passing: strong
Inside Shot: respectable
Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable
Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: respectable
Free Throw: proficient
Experience: pitiful

training his inside skills for two seasons afterwards would make him look like this at 22:

Jump Shot: prolific
Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: strong
Handling: proficient
Driving: proficient
Passing: strong
Inside Shot: sensational
Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: sensational
Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: respectable
Free Throw: proficient
Experience: pitiful

by that time, he should have reached his skill cap and would be a nice PF

I would train him more like a PF, maybe you could make him a PF who could play SF from time to time like my "Star" Dachsbau.

The dude who made the main work for training, start playing again, maybe you could ask him for advice directly especially about the OD training which is the key if he could make the SF spot. I send you a ingame mail with his team link, so if you like you could ask him and maybe also link to this topic(and maybe we all profitate from his experience then).

I think he'd train best as a PF with really well rounded skills. His high perimeter skills will both keep his salary down and make him a match up problem for most PF's and he'll obviously train far quicker as a PF.

General question for the board.

If I have a 6'8", 22 year old with a level 4 trainer. 2 position training.

How long will it typically take to pop IS and ID?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: make that a 23 year old. I guess we're almost at that point.
